I Don't Worry About The Constitution

So says Phil Hare (D-IL).
Even though he takes an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.

This is just an example of the corruption we have in Washington. The ambivalence or outright disdain these people have for our Constitution.

If our elected representatives will not protect and defend the Constitution, then we the people must.

Peope of the 17th Congressional District of Illinois, bid Phil Hare Goodbye!

Class Warfare Works

Unfortunately.

The mantra for tax policy has been tax the rich; make sure they pay their fair share, This class warfare has been going on too long. Why do we disparage those who make more than us?

Covetousness, is what class warfare appears to. This is one of our basest emotions. "Thou shall not covet..." Shame on those that play to our base selves.

But it works. Just look at a recent Rasmussen poll. 65% Say Middle Class Pays Bigger Share of Income In Taxes Than Wealthy. view results

What a misconception. The reality is the 2007 numbers, the latest available, show that the top 1 percent’s income and tax shares reached all-time highs for the third year in a row paying 40.42% of taxes. Further, The top-earning 25 percent of taxpayers (AGI over $66,532) paid more than four out of every five dollars collected by the federal income tax (86.6 percent). Whereas, the bottom 50% of taxpayers pay 2.89% of all taxes. view data

We need to be told the truth. Stop the demagoguery. Quit promoting covetousness!!

Job Killing Legislation

Several corporations have announce charges to their earnings due to changes precipitated by health care reform.

AT&T Inc. will take a $1 billion non-cash accounting charge in the first quarter because of the health care overhaul and may cut benefits it offers to current and retired workers.

AK Steel Corp., Caterpillar Inc., Deere & Co. and Valero Energy announced similar accounting charges, saying the health care law that President Barack Obama signed Tuesday will raise their expenses. On Friday, 3M Co. said it will also take a charge of $85 million to $90 million.

When job creation should be our primary focus, this administration has focused on job killing legistation.

Find The Guy That Threw That Brick Immediately!!!!

On March 24th the Seattle Times reported that someone had thrown a brick through Rep.Driehaus (D-OH) district office window in Cincinnati.click here Driehaus was part of the Stupak 6-pack "pro-life" coalition that voted yes at the last minute after saying for weeks they would have to vote no to the, then, Senate health care bill.

The real story here is we must find this individual pronto. Rep. Driehaus' District Office in on the 30th floor of the Carew Building in downtown Cincinnati. With an arm like this there are any number of football or baseball teams that are desperate to interview this guy.

One other problem, Driehaus' office have since said it didn't happen. Duh..really.

Beware of the SEIU, ACORN, et al operatives.

Are SEIU and ACORN Members Posing as Tea Partiers?

The media is full of reports of threats, racial slurs and homophobic remarks being levied against Congressional leaders that voted for health care. We are hearing about messages being left on answering machines. Congressmen reporting hearing slurs being hurled as they walked though the crowd on Sunday.

As to the slurs being spewed while they walked through the crowd on Sunday, still no audio has been produced confirming this even happened. Did it happen? I don't know. Could it have happened, surely. If it did happen is it a given that those who spewed these things are legitimate Tea Party members? I don't know. Is it possible people were planted in the crowd just to reflect poorly on the Tea Parties?

The messages on the answering machines, well I've heard some of them. Do I know they were left by Tea Party members? No!

My hypothesis is that the SEIU and ACORN  are calling and leaving the messages. After all, they are good at it. It's what they would do if the situation were reversed. Can I prove this? No! Can you prove my hypothesis is untrue? I don't think so.

I do know this, the progressives and their willing accomplices in the media would love to discredit the Tea Party movement.

You be the judge!
